The Southwestern Logan County Farm is a combination of a pivot irrigated quarter and a rangeland quarter and is being offered as two parcels or you can buy both.

PIVOT IRRIGATED PARCEL

The Pivot Irrigated Quarter includes a 2016 8 tower Zimmatic Pivot with 9,796 hours and low pressure overhead sprinkler package. The irrigation well G-179771, drilled in 2016 to 295’ with static water at 104’. The pumping level was 123’ and the pump was set at drilling time to 180’. There are approximately 130 acres under the pivot system. The irrigation pump is an 100 hp electric submersible pump and is pumping 800 gpm. There is also an electric submersible stock water system at the pivot point.

The pivot irrigated cropland soils consist of 35% Class II Holdrege, Hersh and Anselmo silt and fine sandy loams with 0-7% slopes, 41% Class IV Hersh and Valentine fine sandy loams with 0-11% slopes. The balance of the cropland consists of Class VI Valentine soils with 9-24% slopes, this is the southwestern portion.

The farm is located in the Upper Loup NRD and is subject to the rules implemented by the NRD.

RANGELAND PARCEL

The rangeland in the northwestern corner is not currently fenced off between the two parcels.

County Road 40 forms the southern boundary of the pasture and provides the access. There is limited access to the northwest corner of the pasture from Avenue 25.

The rangeland has not been grazed in 2026 and with an acceptable offer and timely closing the Buyer may receive the opportunity to graze the pasture after closing.
