Registered NE Irrigation well G-071788 with 132 Middle Republican NRD certified irrigated acres was drilled in 1989 to 543’, static water at drilling was 230’.

The pivot irrigated cropland soils consist of 55% Class III Keith, Hersh and Holdrege and Uly silt loams with 6-11% slopes and 45% Class II Holdrege and Hord silt loams with 0-3% slopes. The productivity of the soils is very good, the slopes are what lowers the classification.
