The absolute auction was conducted with approximately 35 in attendance. We had 7 bidders online and 11 bidders registered in the room. While the outcome was less than expected we appreciate all the interest in this opportunity.

Auction was held 11:00 A.M. MST Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Perkins County Fair Building, Grant, NE.

Sold 2 very nice half sections of non-irrigated cropland located 3 miles northwest of Brandon in western Perkins County, NE.

Here was an opportunity to bid and buy 2 half sections of good non-irrigated cropland in western Perkins County. Parcels are located in a very competitive farming community with solid grain marketing opportunities. Access to each parcel is via County Road 316 and are located 1.5 miles from Highway 23. The farms are 7 miles from Venango, NE and 14 miles from Grant, NE

Parcels will be offered separately and in one combination. Closing on the South Half will be on or before December 30, 2022 and closing on the North Half will be in the first week of January 2023. Should the farm be purchased as one combination the closing will still be completed as indicated above.

Possession of the farm will be granted at closing. Buyer will receive full rights to any standing crop on the fields at closing.

ACRES: Perkins County Assessor indicates there are 321.22 taxed acres. This farm includes 315 tillable acres of very good cropland.
